SIGNAL Entertainment Co., Ltd (Korean: 시그널엔터테인먼트, RR: Sigeuneol Enteoteinmeonteu) is a South Korean entertainment company that operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management and concert production company and music publishing house. It was founded in August 2005 by Bae Sung-Ki, owner of Cloud Hotel & Resorts Inc. whose family wanted to expand their empire to the entertainment industry. He oversaw the training and debut of girl group, VENUS, in 2009 who achieved international successful very early in their career.
In 2013, the company was bought by Choi Young-soo, who later employed successful soloist of the hallyu wave, Ahn Si-eun also known as SENA, as COO. with her firsthand experience in the entertainment industry, she was able to help lead the company to becoming powerhouse business in the korean entertainment industry.The company is best known for having "self-composing and self-producing" idols and allows them to have creative freedom and flexibility. The company represents other well-known k-pop groups such as MAGIX, i-UV, and DreamSCape and recently signed with MAY.
